"Yay! Ice cream!" Linda’s eyes gleamed with joy as she watched the man scoop up two large balls of ice cream into her cone. The Dawning family was spending their evening at the mall for some ice cream, accompanied by Larson’s friend, Leonard Church, and his daughter, Carolina.
Jonas pondered a bit on which flavors he wanted for his ice cream. So many choices; each with a unique taste. He couldn’t wait to have that cool sweet taste of ice cream in his mouth. As he decided which flavored he wanted he looked over to Carolina. She sat next to her father on the bench, looking down on the floor. Her father wasn’t paying much attention to her, instead he continued his conversation with their father about the new designs. Jonas felt sorry for Carolina and tugged on his mom’s shirt.
“Hey mom, can Carolina get some ice cream too?” Their mother looked down at him and smiled.
“Of course, dear.” She said warmly. “Which flavor do you think she would like?” Jonas looked at all the flavors and finally locked eyes on one; Mint chocolate chip. Carolina liked sweets that had a sweet mint taste to them. When he finally got his and Carolina’s ice cream, he walked up to her and gently kicked at her shoe. She looked up at him and became surprised when he offered her the ice cream.
“Here you go, Carolina. Some ice cream for you too.” Carolina was a bit baffled to get some ice cream, but she accepted it and smiled at Jonas.
“Thanks Jonas.” Jonas smiled back and sat next to her. They continued eating their ice cream, hoping the taste would last for a while along with this sweet memory.

requested by . VERY sorry this took forever. The original idea was to do this comic style but with my busy schedule I was afraid I would take forever with this. So I decided to do it this way. hopefully the small little story isn't horrible to read for some of you
