Description yep. all Six of the well known puppets standing proud and fixed. Once I get back to college, I'll try finishing them up by adding Torch and hope all will end well.

hewhowalksdeath In reply to zanruos [2010-12-19 08:09:04 +0000 UTC]

okay, both: I used a foot tall wooden mannequin as the base (save Leech Woman, who's a recycled Barbie Doll). As for the faces, I used a hardening clay to sculpt the features (this will take some time and patience, I know I did mine time before I perfected them...almost).
The clothes are pure table cloth, although I also used some cotton-eque material to stuff them.

Blade's blade is a pocket knife's knife I found, the hook's just a hook.

hewhowalksdeath In reply to Criss-Angel-lover [2009-07-10 07:34:37 +0000 UTC]

okay. first. you'll need the ff:
~ a wooden mannequin
~ air-dry clay
~ a number of cloth (how many or what color depends on the puppet/s you're going to make.
~ others (blade's hook and knife, toy miniature guns, buttons, etc.)
~ reference (a picture of some sort)

steps:
1. start with the head of your puppet. using the reference, carve your puppet's head with air-drying clay applied at the "face" of your mannequin. apply water to harden and smooth your carve as well as ensuring it to stick well on your mannequin.

2. measure your mannequin's body and stitch his/her clothing. At this stage, it's very important that the size of the suit doesn't restrain them or limit their movement (like my first few attempt with Tunneler...).

3. before dressing the mannequin. you could paint the puppet's faces. Be sure that the mold is dry or else they will melt off.

4. leave it to dry overnight. after which, apply a moderate amount of varnish (or glue mixed with mater) over the painted area. be extremely careful at this part. too much will smudge off the paint.

5. dress them up and you'll get your puppet.

if you got any questions, please do ask.

O.o So they're puppets that are alive?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hewhowalksdeath In reply to GodzillaKiryu91 [2009-06-04 06:12:08 +0000 UTC]

yes...the first two films featured them to be evil, the third to be sympathetic and the rest they're the good guys.

GodzillaKiryu91 In reply to hewhowalksdeath [2009-06-04 17:00:55 +0000 UTC]

1. How are they alive?

2. Why were they evil?

3. Why did they go good?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hewhowalksdeath In reply to GodzillaKiryu91 [2009-06-05 13:28:37 +0000 UTC]

1. ancient egyptian formula created by a demon of the underworld. Andre Toulon, the puppet's creator, kept the formula after saving a mage from death. The mage gave it as his personal "thank you" for his good deed.

2. They are actually not really evil. In fact they hate killing but will only do it to save or protect their master. Unfortunately, some of their "masters" either are evil or turned evil (mostly due to consuming the formula that brings the puppets to life. It somehow help revive the dead too, but loses their sympathy in the process).

3. like above, They're good if their master's good. the only good masters they had were Andre Toulon, the puppet's beloved "father", Rick Meyers, a kind optomistic computer genius and Robert Toulon, Andre's mysterious (and somewhat a little artoonish crazy) great great grand nephew...which is really weird since Andre's and only child...and he never had children.

1. Why would the mage give something that powerful to someone? How did the mage get it?

2.Hmm. Interesting.

3.That is weird. So do the puppets ever die?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hewhowalksdeath In reply to GodzillaKiryu91 [2009-06-07 10:27:14 +0000 UTC]

1. the mage got it from one of the evil god's servants and hopes to keep it away from them as possible, cuz they were planning to use it rise the dead and take over the world.

3. no. if they do die, they could be repaired either by someone or by themselves. although, only one puppet failed to be repaired cuz her remains were far from okay. she's Leech woman, the only female puppet that can spew leeches from her mouth.

GodzillaKiryu91 In reply to hewhowalksdeath [2009-06-07 12:30:00 +0000 UTC]

1. Oh okay. So does the mage die?

2. Oh all rgiht. When you say by themselves, do you mean that they automatically repair? Like their pieces come back together? Oh. I saw her in the video. How did she get destroyed?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hewhowalksdeath In reply to GodzillaKiryu91 [2009-06-07 13:07:50 +0000 UTC]

1. yes.

2. no, they put the pieces back. Pinhead, the one with the small head got his head removed, all he did was pop it right back.

Ms. Leech was burned. But strangely, another ms. leech appeared in one movie.
