Aquire expensive new laptop for digital art, draw ponies.This is done to see if my new laptop can do what I want/need it to do. So far, yes it can. Siginificantly more so than my previous laptop.
I said "THE TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN DOUBLED", to myself, when I set my two laptops together. That is the story behind this picture.
I originally had the above dialog included in the picture too but I choose to not include it incase anypony wants a crazy looking Princess staring at a screen.

Okay, how would I do that without breaking character?
The premise is that Luna, between the loss of control over her body when she became Nightmare Moon, a thousand years of complete isolation, and serious culture shock, has completely lost her mind.
Just for starters, her hobby for the last several hundred years has been self mutilation, because she's divinity and it won't stick, but she's taking questions on the ponynet because Celestia removed everything she could conceivably use to that end after Luna decapitated herself and dropped off her head in a giftwrapped box at Celestia's quarters. Yes, [link] is a major influence.
Since I literally have the art skills of a five year old, I have a justification for the lack of my own art: Luna is convinced that cameras, all cameras, are the eyes of an eldritch horror trying to invade reality (pony reality, at any rate).
