I use to be good at chess, not so much nowadays.Celestia sucks in greyscale; she's just a big white giraffe.
I might have a serious falling out with my scanner soon... *grumble*

I have issues seeing diagonal moves, so I tend to overuse rooks. Usually my chess teacher would abuse this by depriving me of them early, but one time I trapped his king behind his protective wall of pawns. Muahaha.

Jeez, having mini flashbacks of playing chess now. I feel you on them pesky diagonal moves. I once had a friend who always did this protective wall type strat with his pawns and it was quite effective. I could never get it to work whenever I tried it out lol.
