So Xion's Keyblade, Seashell Resonance, was a trial. In the past I've completed what her own Keyblade would like but never put it to paper until KH3 came out. I first I did what most fans did. Considered her Final Form swords used in KH 358/2 Days as the manifestation of her Keyblade. But its just looks off. Like that design doesn't suit her, but rather the monster she became through Xemnas's meddling. I considered giving her a Keyblade like Kairi's but, when her origin gets broken down, she doesn't really have much of a connection to Kairi. The reason she appeared like Kairi with black hair to the others is because she was created from a copy of Sora's memories and his most powerful ones are about Kairi.

When I really thought about it, I knew I wanted Xion's Keyblade to pay homage to the beach, the ocean, the seashells she collected. However this was hard to do, considering ww already have a couple water themed Keyblades in canon. In the middle you can see that I took Brightcrest and tweaked it a bit. I made it's handles match the beach guard from Destiny's Embrace and gave it a Thalassa Shell for a keychain. But I was unhappy with the tip of the Keyblade.

In the third set I turned the head of Brightcrest into a wave crashing over itself, which looks so much better, and re-incorporated the handle parts from Destiny's embrace. This will likely be my final version of Seashell Resonance, but I may come back to it later.
