My entry to *gameboysage 's Contest. I spent a lot of time on this one, trying to make it good.Here's a link to the Contest Page, so you know what this is for. [link]

The contest requirements has to involve GBS's Furr-Sona, as she calls her, meeting up with some FC's or OC's of yours, and I figured Rika and Jo would be great for this. This is not exactly canon to Rika Magika, but it still is good. I like the way she fails at it in the second and third panels.
And since it was allowed, I added in another event after GBS fails to give the two of them amnesia, which makes sense since Rika and Jo are my Maho Shoujo FC's. Pondering on how she will resolve her situation, the white, wish-granting being that Jo got her powers from appears, offering GBS an even better solution, but at a much larger cost.
I certainly hope that this wins the contest. I really put a lot of effort into this one.
So GameBoySage, this little fellow has the most easiest and foolproof solution to your problem. Are you willing to endure the consequences in order to do this?

I won second place, which gets me a free large-comic commission within reason. I knew I did a good job! I am quite proud that I made it that far.
Though I am very impressed by the first-place winner's entry. His was quite awesome and unique too!

It seem so, whatever happen to Little Witch Sally and Sailor Moon where magical girls were sweet and innocent.

Same thing tht happened to things such as the Sonic series (like in the Archie stuff and others), and Megaman X. They got more serious and edgier over time.
In fact, Maho Shoujo Madoka Magika isn't the only one of this sort to make this serious and edgier jump. Strike Witches and Black Rock Shooter are like that too, in that dark and edgy change.
BTW, I never really liked Sailor Moon, but I do like Myu-Myu Power, Shugo-Chara, and Touhou, and they can be considered Magical Girls.

You're right it seem that Magical Girls series have grown much more edgier in the recent years than it did in the early 1980's and 90's. Though, Sailor Moon was my first introduction too magical girls and anime in general, and while not perfect it shown me girls can just be as strong and powerful as any male heroes such as Goku from Dragon Ball.
Also, with magical girls series becoming more edgier, why does the design of them still make them look so loli. Their faces and proportion make them look like little kids as oppose to Sailor Moon design where that design of magical girls were taller and look more like they were in their teens and early adulthood.

Yes that is very true, although non-Magical Girl shows have also shown that at times. Look at character such as Wonder Woman, Laura Croft Tomb Raider, Amy Rose, and more.
But yeah, things have been known to get darker and edgier over time.
And BTW, about something before. You said once that in American shows, usually they are portrayed as a Witch-like villain? I disagree, even in American shows, magical girls are protrayed as good many times. Look at characters such as Glenda The Good Witch of the North in Wizard of Oz (as opposed to her nastier cousins), or Hermoine in Harry Potter, or Teenage Witch Sabrina? They are American Magical girls and aren't portrayed as evil or wicked.
And I think they look so much like that because it makes them look cuter and cuddlier. I'm really into cutesy and cuddly and adorable looking characters. The Sailor Moon girls weren't cute enough for me and weren't cutting it, but the ones of stuff like Myu-Myu Power, Madoka Magika, Touhou, and Strike Witches, are so unbelievably adorable, it makes me wanna hug and cuddle and squeeze them so much. I guess that's why there appearance is like that, so that they look more sweet and cuddly and huggable.

Yeah, today magical girls are cute and cuddly and huggable, but to me at least it is always off putting when they look like little girls instead as young adults. However, I understand your appeal to them in that design mind set, and there nothing wrong about it, it just when I see super heroine I think of Wonder Women, Batgirl, and yeah Sailor Moon. Those three were my hero when I was getting in comic and anime when I was younger.
Also, I now that there are good American Witch, but the way they been protray in Grim Brothers Fairy Tales have always lead me to believe most witches are evil. In fact, I just seen hansel and gretel and the witches there are evil. So yeah, there need to be more witch girls like Hermoine and Glenda to show that witches can be a force of good as well.

(Homura then shows you that she just knocked out Rika and Jo herself, for you).

GBS: "Hey Homura, do you suppose you could reverse time for me and help me with a problem that happened?"
Homura: "Sorry miss, even with time-control, I have a rather full schedule. I've got other girls to save from certain doom."
(Homura runs off).
