Wanted to draw two of these basic grunt Navis together, mainly to show how I thought they'd both appear in certain Miniboss encounters.

The one on the left is a ShimobeyNavi designed by me. The one on the right is a HeelNavi from the canon MMBN series. I thought I'd draw them in poses relating to their combat specialties, since ShimobeyNavis prefer hand combat and any chips that synergize with that, while HeelNavis prefer using Swords and Grenade-based chips. I especially like how I drew the ShimobeyNavi here, with that pose giving the notion of "You think I'm afraid of you, C'mon, I'll kick your butt!" or something like that.

Kinda wanted to show how they'd both be faced as regular reoccuring Minibosses, though both types would utilize a different chip set and fighting style. With others like the kinds in the games I liked to call CloakNavis and ThugNavis in other such miniboss encounters too. Still nicer than that thing in most of the games where the said "Standard Grunt Navi" Miniboss would instead be a battle against a bunch of high-powered viruses instead.

Thinking back, I noticed the HeelNavis were not given as much of an appearance in the Battle Network Anime than they were in the games. Usually it would just be regular Virus encounters or actually really strong Navi Boss Battles in the anime.
The only time I recall HeelNavis appeared in the anime was during this episode where some guy named Wan Tanmen recruited a squad of three of them and had them, along with a group of regular Viruses, try to steal Jasmine's Grandfather's panacea recipe, but other than that, nowhere else. They didn't even speak in that appearance, although true to the games, they put up at least slightly more of a fight than the basic viruses they fought there did, and preferred using Sword and Grenade based Chips. Unless there's another such time in the anime that I forgot about?
