honestly kinda same? 
He just was never interested in dating or getting romantically involved with anyone. The dude isn't even involved with anyone in terms of proper friendship even, he always closed them off. 
I feel like he might be ace, but I feel like he might be something else.......
the only way I can explain it is, I don't know what he is, but I know its not straight, haaaa....

That and if you compare him to other animes where there are girl harems you can tell his reactions much different to the typical straight guy protagonist. Heck when C.C does her more sensual positions Lelouch almost looks annoyed most of the time. (Which is why I think she does it to annoy him) The typical Straight guy Protag would blush or be pervy, or is oblivious. Lelouch doesn't and he's not oblivious. He is completely aware of Shirley's feelings for example but he almost seems to feel gulity that he doesn't return them or just sees her as a friend.

That's why I believe he's unofficially Ace. Though part of it could come from his trust issues too putting the well fare of his sister of his own.

like, he's such a dramatic character that dresses so extravagantly...

He definitely cares about Shirley, but not like she cares about him. She forces a kiss on him but causes him pain over the fact he killed her father without realizing it. 
She invites him to the opera house, only for him to prioritize his mission as Zero. He erases her memory of him when she attempts to kill him. He asks her for advice when it comes to Tianzi's marriage....and she tells him about the "power of love" and the first person he thinks about is Nunnally, completely disregarding Shirley's feelings despite knowing to ask her for advice in the first place. Although they play that love game Milly set up, so they'd be claimed official "lovers" by the school, Shirley pinches Lelouch's cheeks knowing he's faking it, she wants to wait for him to actually fall in love with her like she did him. When asked about it by fellow classmates, she says its pretty much just a stage name, they're actually not in a relationship at all. Whenever Lelouch goes on a date with her, he prioritizes his mission over her all the time. He does consider her and care about her so much, but not like a lover. She struggled with the fact that Lelouch could be so evil, she was never involved in his life outside of school. She never knew he was a wanted to prince, a wanted fugitive, she doesn't know that he killed people mercilessly and without remorse. She ultimately died because of her selfless devotion to him which bothers me a bit, I wish she had more of a conscience when it came to shady closed off people like Lelouch. If she truly knew him as a whole, what he has done, who he truly is, its clear she'd be afraid and devastated by the revelation. She struggled so much with the fact that Lelouch was Zero, just because he killed her father. But he did so much more than that..... 
Shirley represented Lelouch's humane school life. 

C2 was pretty much just a partner in crime at this point. She kissed him a lot, and teased him too. She was overall pretty apathetic to him and originally was only using him for his power. Pretty much to further her own agenda. She was really only involved in Lelouch's fugitive life. 

Kallen is a unique case. She witnessed both school and terrorist Lelouch. She was his knight, she saw nearly everything he suffered through, and slapped him into shape when he got depressed. Kallen is the only girl Lelouch ever initiated a kiss with, and he did it out of a drugged and desperate delirium. She luckily stopped him from being so stupid and yelled at him for abandoning everyone again. She seemed to snap him out of his mood and get him right back onto the job, and she was so happy he was feeling better. Even in the end, Kallen knew, as soon as she saw Suzaku dressed as Zero, everything clicked. She knew what Lelouch did, she knew the sacrifices he made. And despite everything, she still liked him. 
I feel as though Lelouch had the best relationship with Kallen out of all the girls, but he still never pined after her as a true romantic or anything.

Suzaku he goes way back with. But Suzaku at some point ended up hating his guts and ruining his life. A lot of people still ship them though regardless of that fact, and the only two people close enough to Lelouch to say he truly loves them IS Suzaku and Nunnally. So thats why I threw Suzaku in here as a joke haha... 

He cares about them all so deeply, but not as a lovers, (at least, I hope, because I really do not want him in a relationship with C2 next season cuz I wanna avoid the dumb married with children ending) So I'm really intrigued with Lelouch's sexuality. Its really difficult to tell what he is or what he's interested in. Makes him a very interesting character.

I agree with the Kallen thing. I always thought weirdly that at the moment she kissed him they became friends rather than lovers. But not necessarily 'demoting' them to just friends. If anything Kallen is his most trusted friend.

And with Suzaku x Lelouch. Those are one of those pairing you ship and just cry a lot.
