As much as i like this artwork, his 8 bit sprite looks ALOT like Diveman.
Its a shame that Capcom got lazy with the artworks since every single of the robot masters share the same looking legs and arms.

Well a bit but heres the diffrences between them.
#1: DiveMan is taller.
#2: PumpMan's armcannon and hand are diffrent from DiveMan.
#3: Diffrent things on the head.
#4: The big pump on PumpMan. Not like DiveMan.
And #5: Diffrent coloring X3

Ok heres the diffrences between the faces.
DiveMan has a bigger face and he looks angrier.
Thats one thing they could have done on the PumpMan sprite.
Making him look angry like in the picture.
