my latest eye drawing i did. I'm working on al lot of new stuff. for now ill keep posting my older work

The detail in this is incredible--from the veins in the white of the eye to the reflectiveness of the tear pooling on the bottom lid.

Please... can you make a critique to my pencil work? Why I can't reach realism (not even a bit close) to it , even if I keep to shading and shading? At a certain point, I can't shade anymore... because the paper is already too black... but yet... dont look realistic... T_T Please help me to understand... my art is so poor of realism,.... after more than 20 years... nothing change or I dont really improved so much.... Thank you if you can help....

How do you all do those great lightning effects? It never works with an usual rubber, does it? Great stuff

i use kneaded erasers and an eraser called a tombow mono eraser for small highlights . also to create the effects i just focus on getting the contrast between tones high , but keep smooth edges as well .
