*scribble scribble* almost done.Here's Mus, from "Mustard."
When his planet was annexed by Ridge's uncle, he was taken as a prisoner along with the other survivors. And yes, he has some Saiyan blood in him--it's been pretty dilluted though, but the tail always gets expressed for some reason at least once per generation in his bloodline. Other members of his race (a branch off of Salza's) aren't really related to Saiyans, so he's pretty much the odd man out especially since his family's been killed. He was a pipsqueak as a child hg-project.deviantart.com/art/… and wasn't all that useful as a prisoner-worker. He was actually about to be culled (ㅠ_ㅠ) when Lantro and Apuri's mercenary squad leader took an interest in him and took him up.
Basically, he just wasn't interested in violence so being surrounded by mercenaries and forced to go on battles obviously wasn't fun for him. Somehow, he manages to survive mainly thanks to Lantro and Apuri covering for him and grows into THIS. Eventually, the mercenary group gets usurped by Hurricane who hand-picks Lantro, Apuri, and Mus as her generals.
Though Mus still isn't into fighting, he's gotten extremely competent by now and when he goes into berserk mode, watch out!
Liking this so far, and I love Mus; he's so odd.

He was a very cute child and I have to say he's not bad as an adult either. He's kinda handsome in spite of his weird bluish skin. And having a saiyan tail always makes characters 10% cooler xD

It's odd because it's been so long his predecessors mixed with the saiyans yet the dang tail just won't go away; must be a mutation in his line that makes it very susceptible to the Saiyan tail expression. The rest of the race considered his family freaks, but they weren't particularly xenophobic or prejudiced on appearance so it wasn't too bad for his family. and all was well....at least until the annexation event.

Heh, almost every interesting character has to go through something horrible at a certain point of his life. Usually as a child or teen... we just love drama xD

Actually, no. Characters who don't have any tragic backstory and have developed as balanced individuals can be interesting too. It's just that the stage I've picked for this story is a convoluted one with a lot of unpleasant things going on. Naturally, the characters who are placed in such an environment will end up being swept into said unpleasantness. xD
Honestly, I doubt it would dominate to this extent, but I did need Mus to have a tail...so his family are freaks, I guess, lol.
Nope, his line can't be considered Saiyan anymore, so no Oozaru, SSJ, etc.

Oh, no Mus is a member of a race that branched off of Salza's dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Salz… race a long time ago, because I had Salza in mind when designing Mus, but didn't want him to be too similar to Salza in appearance and other characteristics.
The Saiyan genes got mixed into Mus' bloodline a long time ago as well, so there's such a small amount of Saiyan blood in him that I actually wouldn't really consider him a Saiyan at all. Despite having a tail, he can't go Oozaru or Super saiyan, for instance.
The reason I've still decided to give him a tail as well as the small genetic connection with the Saiyans in the first place was to showcase how desperate Hurricane is in holding onto her ancestry and preserving the Saiyan race, to the point of considering someone from a random race that actually wouldn't be considered as a Saiyan to be a close clan member just because he has a tail like her.

I see, only little of him has saiyan blood. Abit different with i always saw. It's good to see more Branched seijin.. i have one too. Looking at your design, makes me think Branched seijin need more love! Dbz fandom need this race more and not only dominate by Saiyan oc only
