Description
This is a drawing that I did for personal Spirituality contest. I am so excited to enter this contest and I reflected in this drawing along with Scripture how my relationship with Jesus has transformed my life and continues to renew my mind. I've always struggled with severe anxiety, depression, and other issues and I was bleak, dark, and hopeless and nothing really meant anything to me. I was totally apathetic. But after loss and hurt and nearly giving up, I became a follower of Jesus and though I still have the same mental struggles, He gives me His strength and grace to not only get through it, but to help others who struggle as well. I used watercolor brush pens, sharpie markers, and miscellaneous markers on this abstract self-portrait.
