So I was surfin around fer pix and I stumbled onto some kind of fan review and they were throwing this bitchfest about how they totally ruined Beast Wars with Beast Machines and how much it sucked and all this and all that. But once you get past how wierd it is, I think Beast Machines was something of a cool twist. The plot got really strange, but was, I think, more meaningful than Beast Wars. The art was much better and the character design had grown by leaps and bounds; I thought the new look was kind of eerie and neat. That airbrushed 3D modeling looked much better than when they began. Anywho, this is my conception of what Dinobot might have looked like had he survived to Beast Machines. I might color this... I might design him in his robot mode.Related content

I agree with you. I just went back and watched it the other day and found myself loving the dark cyber punk atmosphere.(not that I didn't like it in the first place it just hit the mark more so now that I am older) And I too also loved the more slick character designs as opposed to the clunky forms from Beast Wars...minus Optimus, If only they had kept that traditional Optimus face it would have been fine.

Gah, I've just done a small BW refresher and I'd forgtten how much I liked Dinobot. I'm not in to Beast Machines as much, but it would have been pretty kickin' if he had survived to be in it.

Beautiful design,especially the true sickle like quality in his toe claw.The razor edged spikes on his head is also a nice touch and I agree that Dinobot should have lived to go back Cybertron.If he had,I imagine that he and Rattrap would have been on at least slightly better terms with eachother and would have been less optimistic in resurecting Rhinox and Silverbolt considering the rather dark outlook he had on things in 'Beast Wars'.

I did enjoy Beast Machines a little more. But then again, I love darker themed stories. Everyone had gone a little nuts and that made things interesting. I havent' seen that much of it, though. But I waant to.
But I give props to Beast Wars, as it tied in the original Transformers crew as well. Like... ORIGINAL, noneof this Armada bull x_x
