I remember some of your pieces that used real rust in them!
They turned out very well.
What do they look like now?

Aww~
What happens when you use actual rust? Do you have to mix it with medium?

Rellay really awesome! I love the ears you put to the dragon, and well, the color like it is an old picture, an old paper. It has a little bit of human looking...

I like the look of the dragon alot, the way its shaded and detailed. Also dig the old paper feel of the frame.

I wonder how archival rust would be... It's not archival in and of itself, as it's really such a fast oxidation process, but once the iron is totally oxidized, would it be stable?
Definitely a cool little drawing. I like the dragon's big ears.

Rust is used in some paint pigments, isn't it? [link] So I think it'd be stable. More than a lot of organic dyes, anyway.

This is a great picture, simply stunning! I love the texture and how it looks like an old piece of paper. The horns and ears are similar to that of a ram's but the horns aren't as coiled, and the ears are also a bit batish. The title fits perfectly, even if you didn't actually use rust. I love this dragon's little quirks, like the little spikes on his shoulders and the teeth sticking out. They make it cute. I especially like the big ears though. x3 I love this picture!

What works have you done in which you utilized rust? I've heard of using coffee and other irregular mediums, but rust seems so much more unique.

Shouldn't it be in mixed media category then?

I'm not sure what category it ought to be in. Part of it is digital. The biggest bulk of it is traditionally drawn. Ought it be in the mixed media category?

I didn't submit anything in a while, and I see dA messed up categories again. I think it belongs to digital media -> mixed media -> Fantasy... I'm not sure why did they add mixed media into both traditional and digital :I
