Description I have a new tablet, woo!!! My BF wanted one to doodle around with, so we struck a deal. He would get me a new one (because I draw far more often) and he would take my old one. Well, we went to get one, and he figured he'd spring for the Intuos 3. I just have to make up the diff. Awesome! So here's the first doodle with my new tabbeh!

You should do one a little farther back,with the dragon stepping out of the mists. Maybe with its wings raised?

I can just picture the mists rolling from its wings.

Hey Hibb, did u sketch this out first on paper then use ur tablet to color, or all on tablet? I have a problem with using mine like that, i write like a leftie, so im always kinda on an angle, and turning the tablet doesnt work out right so i have alot of trouble drawing straight to the comp.

really? do u hold ur pencil like a righty tho? My hand arches around the pencil for some reason...i have a problem! . So like, my fingers are all pointing towards my chest when i hold it.

Ah, lefties. So many interesting ways of holding a pencil. If your wrist is bent at like a 90 degree angle to your forearm, then no worries: all my leftie friends write like that. Can't say it looks comfortable, though, and it's probably hell with a tablet, since rotating the tablet just janks everything up worse.

Woah there. Do me a favor and write in english. Net speak abreviations are not becoming of anyone.

I don't know ifI hold my pencil in any special way... I can't imagine why your hand would do that, either. Maybe if you have your tablet up on a high desk, it would cause problems. I usually have my tablet in my lap when I draw. If it's just the way your hand writes, you may want to try training it into a more useful position.

Just because I think your an amazing artist, I will actually comply with your request. I write in net-speak because i'm lazy, and really...who cares. But if that is what you desire, then so be it.

My hand is like that because it is how my mum has always wrote. You are right though, I do have my tablet on a higher surface. Bringing it down on my lap will take a bit of getting used to, but it feels better. Thank you. And from now on, i shall try my best not to type lazy when i type to you.

(ps: Another reason why i refrain from typing like I am typing an essay is because it starts to seem like im trying too hard, haha. I bet you noticed)

I care XD I am one of those strange net surfers who doesn't like to see people sell their intelligence to spare themselves typing a few extra letters. Heh heh heh heh heh.

You've picked up bad habits from your mum My brother learned to write in a very nasty way that made his words totally illegible. He had to break the habit later on when he realized WHY his writing was so terrible. But he managed. (not that his penmanship is TOO much better, but at least we can all read it now )

haha. Haha. I honestly think its because she was forced to write with her right hand as a child. (Writing with your left meant the devil was in you, and she would get beat And while learning, she began to hold the pencil the way I do, but only with her right). But I will really try hard to break that habit. Than you very much for actually responding to my case, I had thought for sure you would overlook me and go on about your business, but you didn't and I am very greatful for that. Its not everyday that this happens. I guess kindness is spreading, heh.
