It's not really a drawing, but it is anthro, so in drawing it goes
Manyhow, I finally decided to color something.. some uh.. anthro dinosaur/raptor man with a basketball. I don't know why ^_^;;;;;
Mer, I apologize in advance to all the paleontologists and wannabes who'll throw a fit because I got so many of the features wrong. I do like to do things correctly, but I don't find it necessary to get everything anatomically perfect every time, especially when it's just a cartoony rendition. So if you don't mind, keep your ego and vast knowledge of dino facts to yourself if you're just going to point out every little thing I did wrong.

This is very cool. The overall expression of the creature depicted herein is nice. Yes, it does appear he's unsure just what to make of the basketball, which is about what I would imagine such creatures doing. So in a way, I'm getting a laugh out of this, because it's funny. I mean the picture itself is funny. I love things like this.

Ohmygoshraptor. Sorry, not only is this a very well done picture...it is of a raptor...person...thingguy...But my point was that I love raptors....actually, dinosaurs in general.

recent findings in the archeological community show that raptors were feathered. I know some hardcore dino fans who's bite your face off for drawing an unfeathered raptor XD

I must say that i really cant remember commenting on this, though its in my favs (and i cant find my comment, i looked) So i just wanted to say that This pic totally freiken ROCKS! ^_^ I like the feathers, they totally rock too. You know what? This whole pic is sooo bloody shiny ^_^. Hmm.. even with his rather naive expression, id bet hed woop me in bball XD.
Anyways.... theres a furry war? oddness. Cant we all get along? I am a furry meself, but i see nothing wrong wit the others (even if da scalies aint as cuddly :-p)

I admit I've looked at ALL the comments this one got, just to see if anyone had pointed out any paleo mistakes, or screamed "RAPTORS ARE NOT FEATHERED!". Well, I'm so happy you made him feathered. This makes me want to draw him... feathered raptors are so rare, sadly... Do I have your permission?

sure, no problem ^_^;;; the funny thing is, raptors ARE feathered. And if anything, the paleo freaks would be screaming if I had done otherwise. It's wierd that they would be so rare. You should go look at Orbyss's work. She does all feathered raptors.

Ehhe, I usually AM a paleo freak that points out the feather subject, but only on wannabe realistic pictures. In anthro art, everything is permitted (I am so smart...), the only limit is the fantasy of the artist
I personally have a freaky genderless feathery raptor avatar, so... just guess
I love Orbyss' work and she's also a nice person to talk with, even if most furries won't probably say the same thing... (if you know all the furry VS anti-furry war that's going on out there, you know what I'm talking about)

yes, I do know all about it. I'd say I don't take sides. A lot of furries I know are pretty annoying. I do not, however, advocate hate mongering.
