He probably is both dead and alive, knowing Sollux. Aradia said he had a foot on "either side" and he had two dreamselves... it's possible that since he had "three lives," one of them is free to derp around outside of his dream bubble?
This is a really great piece. Solly's pose and expression are wonderful. not to say anything of the pretty shading and UNF wrinkles. I'm going to be rude and critique, though; the side of his face, dear his eye, could use some shaping- it looks like the white eye is a sticker slapped on a smooth surface as opposed to a sphere in a socket.

I'm guessing he's not actually dead, though.
I know Aradia told him his body would arrive, but she also told him he had a "foot in both" something or other.
I'm guessing that this insinuates that part of him died after he lost his vision, otherwise both eyes would be white, since all the other dead trolls have white eyes, whereas one of his is eyes is still black, which is the way he is in the living world.

Hmm..... the 'yes, well, they made it' is the only thing among those that sounds as proof to me, cause all the others infer that he is dreaming it. And the funeral bit is in regards to all the ghosts in there as a whole.
