Description Day two dawned bright and early that Sunday morning as the staff at Hollowbrooke Manor awoke for the first time in their new surroundings.

20 year old Tammy Smith rolled over and slapped the blaring alarm clock. "Five AM?" she moaned. She slid out from under the covers and stretched from head to toe, knocking a pillow off of the bed in the process.

"Wasn't sure why I expected anything less." she grumbled, throwing her sweatpants on and stuffing a muffin in her mouth before slipping out the door in her winter jacket and muck boots. It was her first day as official barn staff, and she wasn't used to waking up so early.

The hallways of the staff building were bustling with jockeys from the Racing Facility rushing out the door to exercise their charges, riders with cowboy boots shuffling with their cowboy hats in hand, and her fellow workers from the English Facility heading down to start the day.

Moving everyone onto the same farm and under the same management was unanimous, but it sure was going to take some getting used to. The operation in its entirety was to be run by a counsel made up of those in charge of each individual facility on the farm. The Racing Facility was run by the Hollow family, the Western Ranch was run by Mari Hemingway and Mara Anderson, and the English Facility was to be run by Kipcha Haize and Jamie Finch.

Tammy was one of the last people to rush down the barn isle to check work assignments. The list included who was responsible for the cleaning of which horse's stall, as well as when that horse was to be turned out and later brought back inside. During the week the staff would take turns feeding, and then exercising the horses who did not have an assigned rider.

Having worked with Six for so long, Tammy was not at all surprised to see that she was not only in charge of his care and exercise, but also for deciding his actual work schedule.

Seeing he was first to go outside in the rotation, Tammy walked down the barn isle exited to see how her boy had settled overnight. Six nickered and paced in his stall, happy to see a familiar face. She took his head in her hands and kissed his nose. "I know, boy" she soothed, "It must be confusing to be in a new place with so many new faces."

Six bobbed his head, and she grabbed the pony's halter off of it's hook and slipped it over his head. She walked the stud to his paddock as he danced at the end of his lead and let him loose into the field. The horse did an animated trot around the fence line before stopping to stare at the new surroundings.

Tammy shuffled back into the barn to get the next horse ready for turnout, excited to see where this new adventure would take them.
