This KWPN mare is for sale! This KWPN mare has SOLD!
"Why don't you tack up Bella and ride with me?" Azreth asked suddenly, watching Aleia mope by the arena door. Moments earlier Tammy had stormed out of the arena, and the air had been tense ever since.
Aleia beamed over at Azreth. "Really?"
"Absolutely!" Azreth knew how much she had been admiring the young mare ever since she had started training.
"I'll be right back!" Aleia called, already speeding out the arena door. She returned ten minutes later with the large Dark Bay mare trailing behind her. While Aleia wasn't necessarily a timid rider, horses who had tendencies to act out usually made her nervous, so Azreth was more than happy to share the sale horses who were on the quiet side, especially since it meant less work for him. Aleia was a good rider who wouldn't undo any of the training he had put on the horses.
As the two rode, Azreth would sneak peaks at Aleia and Bella. He always loved to watch Aleia ride. The girl was timid and soft spoken with people, but the moment her butt hit the saddle she transformed. She was confident in herself and you could tell how much happier she was with a horse beneath her.
He'd be lying if he said he didn't get distracted with her in the ring with him, but he didn't mind. Ciara, on the other hand, had her opinions about his lack of attention.
"Watch out!" Aleia scolded when Ciara had tossed a good buck and nearly unseated Azreth. "Pay attention!"
Azreth chuckled at Aleia's tone of voice. "I would take you more seriously if you weren't trying to laugh so much."
Just as Aleia was going to respond, Mara appeared in the arena door. "Hey, Az? There's a woman from Clover Field Stables asking about Ciara. They want to come see her on Saturday."
"Awesome! Book the appointment. I'll be here all day," Azreth answered, stopping Ciara in the center of the arena and giving the mare a pat on the neck.
Aleia breathed a sigh of relief as she parked Bella a safe distance away from Ciara. She'd feel much better once Azreth didn't have to ride the red head anymore.
