uhm, the major difference i really noticed were the colors and sharpness. for post processing, there's a lot more freedom with the colors/white balance/etc. and overall, it just looked a lot sharper.

and yes! omg, it is SO different. the colors are way better, i think. there was a very noticeable difference between RAW and regular.

well, my camera can shoot in RAW if you choose it as that, or else it'll shoot in JPEG. i donl't know if yours can do that. then i had to install a CD that came with the camera to be able to convert it from RAW to JPEG. and after it converted, i just opened up photoshop and voila.
