Description
Because when I was making last render I noticed he's looking good up close too.Had to change the lights to make them fit to the environment, but he still looks cool here.
This was quite heavy render. I made almost every part subdivided 4 times and added displacement rather than use simple bumpmapping.
Japaniese know how to make good models

How I wish. How I truly wish there was a figure as awesome such as this render.

Yeah, unfortunately if there's ever done any figure it's either too small or too cheap made.

...Sad but true, nowadays. Probably he'd end up as some ridiculous PlayArts Kai "Action Figure". ^__^'
Man, I really miss the times when they still put effort into their figuresβfrom design to sculpturing.

I think the only way to get this quality statue is to save this model in some proper file type and send it to 3D Printer, then paint it with proper colours.

I saw and commented too!
BTW, could you please post some tutorials of lighting and camera effects?

If you mean light settings for this one under which we're talking, then I just added 2 point lights on lvl of his shoulders to light him from the sides slightly (they in front of him). One sun light from above with size 1.0 and it brightness a little stronger than of those two point lamps. Two planes behind him with very strong emission (they almost appear in the camera, that's why those lights on the floor have dark lines) turned to him.
That's pretty much the way I work when doing such works (lately I figured out how to light the model with 4-9 lamps and leaving the background lighted by only 1-2 lamps, it's based on usage of 3 layers).
And what do you mean by the camera effects?

Thank you for explaining!
I mean by the slightly defocused effect, that you used here. lishaoran00 used here too like you: fav.me/d6i44yw (Or maybe is a Photoshop effect, I'm not sure if you used to edit. )
Looks really different from the DoF effect that I know.

It's Lens Distortion (you can find it in Compositing nodes). It shifts the red and blue channels on the edges. In this node you change value of dispersion to get such effect.
