Description
Slowly adding to this!Fluffles are a closed species. Please, do not make you own
Appearance:
Fluffles are tall creatures, standing around 5 feet to the withers, around 6.5-7 feet in total. Their fluffs makes them seem taller though, and gives them more bulk. They actually have a slender, lean body. They have a small, round muzzle perfect for their diet type, and their large eyes help them to see better in the dark. Their tongue is forked.
The fluff is like velvet, for the sun does not dry it out since they dwell in caves. Their fur is much thicker in some places, including:
-Top of head
-Around neck
-The backs of legs
-Tail
The colour of the fur will be similar to the colour of the stone they have on their back.
Their legs are long, but the rest of the body is compact. Their paws are flat and wide, allowing for good stability in the rocky, moss-covered caves.
Perhaps the most noticeable feature is the water on their back. This is like a bowl, filled with water which can vary in colour. It is lined with precious stones or crystals.
Where do they live?
Fluffles live in caves. Though they are not your ordinary caves - they are full of many amazing plants and flowers, and lit up by many different glowing crystals and gems.
How does the water stay on their backs?
The water on a Fluffles back only has the appearance of water. It is actually a bit thicker, like a watery gel, and will always stay within the Fluffle - it will never fall out. Some say it's magical, and other say it has some sort of magnetic properties, however no one is really sure.

Diet:
They are omnivores, and eat moss from inside the where the caves where they live. At night, they venture outside to graze and eat berries and other small fruits. They especially enjoy sweet fruit, however too much will cause them to loose a few gemstones.
Behaviour:
Fluffles usually travel in groups or pairs. When they sleep, they will sleep in a pile to keep warm.
Young:
Fluffles lay eggs. The colour of the egg will represent the colour of the stone they will be born with. There is 3-6 eggs per lay. They take around 1 month to hatch.
When born, they are literally a bundle of fluff with the tiniest bit of water on their backs - no stones or crystals, no horns.
At 2 years, they will start to wander away from their families. They look different to an adult, their mane is much curlier and thicker to keep their smaller bodies warm. Thier legs are shorter, though everything else seems to be in comparison.
At 3 years, they will have grown considerably to around 4 feet to the withers. It is at this stage they must drink the potion if they are to grow crystals.(Look below for more info on potions)
At 5 years, they will start to show signs of horns, if they are male. If female, no horns will appear. Their gemstones will start to show around their backs too.
At 10 years, they are fully mature.
Potions(Still a WIP)
There are many different potions a Fluffle can take. Who they are made by, no one knows, since they dwell deep within a cave system.
There is one important one that all young Fluffles must take when they are 3 years old. This initiates the growth of the crystals around on their backs. Fluffles who do not receive this are classed as outcasts.
Other potions are wip.
