Description
new IDInteresting process for this one: I modelled this head from plasticine and took photos. Then I heavily cleaned it up in PS and painted details.
upon request, here is the unaltered shot of the plasticine bust: [link]
It measures about 2 inches from top to bottom of the head.

I would totally feel BA if i was about to snipe somebody from five hundred feet away, and this helmet wraps around my head allowing me to see the thermal out line of my victim. Just my imagination. Good work

Very cool. How strong is this plasticine? Can it take a great deal of stress? I ask becuase I wish to undertake a project and I'm looking for the best material.

not exactly, it's pretty soft, especially when warm. Very sensitive to hits etc.
And you can't bake plasticine, it always remains soft...

Dang! It won't meet my material requirements. I need a meterial that I can mold around my face. Have it harden and then mold something around it that is much tougher and can withstand impact.

the best sculpting material is Super Sculpey. Many artists use it. Perfect for really fine details and you can bake it etc.

isn't that a material that comes in a shatter resistent variety?

I have heard that they have a form of plasticine that is shatter resistant to a point.
