New piece! One of those where I feel I could still add/change stuff until I go nuts, so I just call it a day before ruining it!I tried to make it look somewhat photographic.
The blur distribution could use some work I think.
I didn't have a clear concept in mind so I just played around until this piece emerged. The composition is a total mess!
Really sorry for not being able to reply to comments lately!

Really great piece! I love the sense of depth and the huge scale of this shot, and the way that the figure in the forground looks like he's about to jump in that jet!

I'm not really digging the plane too much, but the background is great. The way the light is playing off of the building back there and the light poles and what not looks great.

Yeah, it's kind of just "there", but I don't really see what else you could do there either. Like you said in your artist comments, it's kind of a mess compositionally, so nothing really would fit there (not a different plane, not an alien ship, not really anything). Oh well, live and learn, right?

Great work as always, the rendering is especially good on this piece. The plane really pops out of the page, feels very 3D. Love the lighting to.

huh, oh no, sorry. 'Danger Zone' was the theme song for the movie Top Gun back in the 80s, which was about fighter jets. Look it up on Youtube.

Hideyoshi you're one of my inspirations for environment design and illustration. I wish that one day I would be able to create art that's up to par with yours, because I love yours. Sorry, my inner fan girl surfaced.

The artwork is amazing!
From a military point of view, the aircraft looks "stealthy", which is cool. But, stealthy aircraft do not normally carry external weapons because they show up on enemy radar and allow the enemy to locate the plane.

ah, that makes sense! I had the feeling the rockets looked out of place but thought it was mainly because they draw too much attention

Stealth aircraft like that carry their weapons in internal bays in the fuselage that are covered by doors that open to fire. That way they can stay stealthy most of the time. You can Google photos of the F-22 for how it looks.

nice aircraft design, I like the sleek shape and the cockpit, nice work on the photo depth, too.
The only critique I have: you had pieces with better storytelling, this one tells contradictory stories depending what detail you look upon

I was actually not even giving it much thought, just tried to imply possible plots maybe or leave it up to the viewer entirely.

A wonderful piece as always, really enjoy the background. However it seems to slightly lack shading, especially beneath the plane, which then makes it seem like it's floating, I would try adding darker tones beneath it, at least around the wheels (Especially the one nearest to here)
But then, this is just my opinion, I don't expect you to listen to me, but it's just a suggestion.
