Description
Here goes, an illustration I did for the Shadowrun 'Seattle 2072' book. It's a future high security Seatac airport.Hope y'all had a good start into the new year!

I can say that I like this illustration of a location in the Shadowrun universe better than the ones normally used. Surgically clean looking yet still has the gritty dystopian feel to it. Bravo you have captured it masterfully.

This is awesome! I love Shadowrun and I think you captured the essence and style well. Very modern... but also just a very 'natural' image! I like the way the people look; it's like they're moving really fast with a slow-capture camear.

Man, I wish Seattle was like this now! It would've been so much more brilliant when I had visited then!

I REALLY love this Hideyoshi! The color pallette seems very real to me. I love the multitude of people! Perfect for an airport. I think maybe you used some photo textures like in the glass upstairs to the right? But who cares! Why? Because it goes with everything and hard to tell! How often do you practice speed painting? I want to get into it!

Very believable design, pretty much what I think we should expect to see in 20 or 30 years. Great concept Hide, and great execution!

Woah are some parts of it 3D ???
I can't tell! lol! Your geometry is too perfect !
Well done. I feel this is more of an experimentation from your usual style. I like it!
Wasn't it a pain drawing all that people?

the only thing that is 3D is the fighter plane.
The people are mostly overpainted photo texture

What really strikes me is the fighter jet. Looking far more advanced than anything we have now, it's portrayed as an obsolete museum piece by that time. It helps to set the time period.

Huh. Seems like one would be less likely to get lost in that Sea-Tac than the current one that's full of staircases winding about *everywhere.* Not complaining. It's kind of fun. Interesting concept.

Looks great--awesome depth!
...for Seattle accuracy though, I think you still need some native american art, salmon, and modern art that evokes thoughts of a forest. I doubt that those Seattle standbys will be gone by 2072! (But that's just speaking as a resident.
)
Really nice work!
