Description Dhalsim and the reindeer gang. It doesn't get any more l33t.
Actually it was Illustration of the Week - Crossing the Marshes.
I like story driven art!

no refs., a day or so. I was struggling a lot with the composition. Not sure if I succeeded in the end.

I LOVE artworks that leave me lingering there before them with unanswered questions, like:
What is that circular cloud?Β  IS it a cloud?Β  It looks like the mouth of a cave, but...
Is it a wormhole?Β  Some type of portal?Β  Crossing time or just distance...?
I wonder where they are going, and why...
You may enjoy story-driven art, but this piece of art creates the story as well.Β  Pure excellence!Β  Β

I really like this. It makes me think of some kind of holy pilgrimage for some reason.

"Only those who have seen the sun rise through 'The Eye of the World' can understand the creators true majesty and vision...."

... or something like that. In any case, I can't rationalize why I like this as much as I do.

I really like the story aspect of this!! I like pictures that raise questions. And there is a bit of emotion in it, too!

Yoda Flame! (Or how it is pronounced...)

The compsitionΒ΄s nice! Since a circle always draws the eyeΒ΄s attention, itΒ΄s good you placed the main characters right underneath it. What annoys me a little is the reindeer-thingyΒ΄s head on the right corner - it appears cut off, a branch would have worked better i think. Also, itΒ΄s better to have uneven numbers, so three instead of four would also be better iΒ΄d say.
But i really love the feeling of this one, great atmosphere
