Only took me like three years to finally do a halfway decent Rydia picture.And it still sucks. Argh.
But, yeah. Rydia. FF4. I've had a sad nerd-crush on this character since '92.
DS remake comes out next month. Hecks yeah!

Yeah, I always liked Rydia way more than Rosa (though I'm pretty sure her name is an Engrish take on Lydia).
You've improved a lot since you got your tablet. There is one thing missing with the way you draw eyes, though. There needs to be another line representing the eyelid above the upper line outlining the eye.

i have a question, out of all the final fantasy women there are who are the ones you like bust, me personally i like the girls from final fantasy 7 and it is the only game to ever have as many spin-off to it as the others do. is there any chance that you do any of the other females from the different games, much like you did with her, for EX. Rikku, i think you could add them to your new website and they would still come out just as great as this one.

Rydia's my favorite, hands down. If I ever do more, I'll....er...do more. I am a fan of the series, after all, so it's probably unavoidable at this point.

i have never play 1-6, but i have played 7-12 and there spin-offs, can i ask or a little favor, could maybe work your way down the ladder starting with princess ashe from 12 please?

great drawing but it seems to be to bright a green for her clothes. I like your old drawing of Rydia better beause of the little joke with Edge in it, it seemed to fir her personalty from the game very well, this pose for her seems alright and I could see Rydia as a good careing mother, but to me the face seems a little bit generic with the mouth and the way it looks over all, I think the way the mouth curves and the eyes looks seems to be the way you make anyone looks nice and calmly happy, not that it's a bad thing but the face just dosn't say Rudia to me.
It's been awile since I'd played FF4 but i'm prety sure I know what i'm saying

thanks I try to be nice but helpful, anyway I've more or less watched you from the begining and I like the way you goten better with your drawings, your doing great on your own but I think you should try to put more personilty into your drawings. It'll probably be hard to do (hevens knows I can't yet) but it will inprove your drawings so much if you got them to look like they have there own personality

Anywho, thanks. I'm getting conflicting messages about the face, myself. On the one hand, take the comments on this page. I thought it looked alright, myself. On the other hand, my trustworthy art critic feels it looks pasted on, and on that regard, I can also see that point, too.

I remember just about everything when it comes to FFs 1-10. Only slightly so when it comes to 12. So, ya, I remember Terra. However, FF6 was never all that important to me the way that FF4 was, so, I kinda never think about that cast. Whoops!
