“I’m just so mad at you right now. Hmph. You’re lucky I love you or else you’d be chilling out in one of my stomachs instead of looking so smug.” Rae grumped while making a pointed and very obvious show of looking away from Flynn, her large and belegged body splooted forward as she lay against her front, propping herself up with two left hands while the other two idly toyed with him, like a child playing with a large doll.

“Hopefully you’d put me in the stomach that isn’t fatal, right?” Flynn smiled hopefully, unaffected by her moodiness. She was still just as cute even when she was pouty, but he gently removed one of her hands that kept meandering around his throat just the same.

“Mm, maybe. I was so close, Flynn. Just a few more hours in that calerian form and I would’ve made it. Now I’m gonna be stuck like this until I’m certain every last egg is out.” Rae whined, indicating her gigantic broodmother form with a disgruntled shuffling of her many legs. She still continued to look away from him, mostly, except for maybe two of her five glowing alien eyes.

Flynn leaned back from his sitting position and looked behind her at the pearly bundle of her freshly-laid brood, counting them in groups of two under his breath. They were pale lavender, roughly the size of a large football and speckled like clusters of stars. “…twenty, twenty two, four… geez, twenty six eggs babe. No, I’m glad I stopped you in time, you really would have exploded. Besides, there’s always next time.”

“’Next time’, he says.” Rae echoed him with a wry smile, but she was finding it hard to stay mad for much longer. She sighed a bit, scooping him up with her free right hands to bring him closer to the curve of her breast. “Next time is so far away, though. Maybe next time I’ll pin you down and lay a couple in you and see how you like it.”

This wasn’t the first time she had mentioned such a thing and Flynn still wasn’t certain if she was serious or if that was even a thing she could do at that point. He laughed a little nervously, blushing a bit and reminding himself to consult Lena about that sometime in the future. “By the way, you done with my shirt now?” He asked.

“Oh. Yeah. Hold on...” She murmured and searched around herself for a moment. She couldn’t help but giggle a little when she gathered up the few remaining shreds of Flynn’s shirt in a hand and scattered them over his head like fluttering pieces of white confetti. “Woo! Congrats! You’re a dad again! Well, you will be once they hatch.”

After picking a couple of white strips out of his hair Flynn stood in order to get closer to her face and kiss her on his own terms. The size difference made it a little awkward, but he made do. “D’aww, I love you little buddy. Never change.”

Rae fought back the minor urge to just shove him clothes and all into her mouth and kissed him back. “Flynnnn, you’re soooo-” She began.

-honk-

Her admission and the moment was lost to time as soon as Flynn reached up and grabbed her by her ears, one in each hands. He was gentle, but it wasn’t what she had been expecting. “Hey look, you’ve still got youuuurrrrr bunny ears!” He announced, laughing.

“Aaaaaaieee, Flynnnn!” Her purple complexion darkened further in embarrassment. There was no precedent about how she should feel about an incomplete transformation but for some reason she found the concept mortifying.

“My sweet, soft, cuddly little bunn-”

It was the last thing he said before he disappeared down her gullet.

She’d let him out again later, once he’d learned how to behave.
