But, in all honestly, the fat art phenomenon just doesn't really do it for me anymore. But the stuffing sure does! Hell, it turns out that the FA stuff only existed because of the WG. Whaddya mean, that doesn't make sense? Oh, right, it doesn't.
What I'm saying is, I like things getting bigger. It's not the bigness that matters, it's the GETTING there. Yeah. I don't get it either, but whatever.
So!

Also, I'm not dead. Marriage has not killed me. Hell, she encourages this stuff for some reason.

It's kind of like collecting [anything]. It's not the actual object that matters, but the hunt, the find, tha acquisition that makes the difference. So it is w/me; I love the 'getting there' more so than the 'there'.

In total agreement with you sentiments, and I love the progress scene above with it's bulgeing wobbliness. Even if Virginia doesn't think she has room for the cake i'm sure Maya will find it. :^)
Reminds me, Maya's been out of the limelight for a bit (although what we can see of her arm means she's been keeping her weight up). Hopeing we might see her undergo similar treatment personaly. Turnabout is fair play as they say. :^)
Also, random question, but have you ever played Dragon Warrior/Quest 8: Journy of the Cursed King? I've played a *lot* of RPGs, but I put that one right up there with Wild ARMs 3 in terms of shere brilliance.

I'm sure Maya will meander back into focus someday. And lord knows she'll do it to herself anyway, regardless of karma.
I'm only partially into DQ8. Haven't gotten the fourth party member yet, but I'm into it enough to realize that it really is an exceptional game compared to the rest of the series. Good game, either way. I really oughta finish it.

It's definitly worth your time. Angelo's pretty awesome, although I think Yangus and Jessica tie as my favorite characters. I've finished the game, but I wouldn't say i've 'completed' it (the final sidequest is a *massive* jump in difficulty) but it's still one of the best games i've played.
And in fairness to the sereis DQ7 was pretty awesome, but soooooo bloody *long* and drawn out that I usualy gave up due to something new coming along before I was half way. :^P
