I agree. Tommy's a great character and ranger, but he's not theΒ best and/or a god.
Every ranger is heroic andΒ honorable in his or her own way. TheyΒ allΒ deserve respect, not just a select few (that's my philosophy, anyway). I used to be an MMPR purist until a few years ago; then, I started watching the seasons I hadn't seen. Now, I adore each one of them!
