Hey guys. Long time no art, eh?Finding inspiration this year has been shitty. Not only for getting ideas but to actually follow through with them, has been tough for a while with everything going on. Blah, blah, blah, life's a bitch.
Seeing as I have a bit too much free time on my hands (and happened to watch some dbz), I felt inspired to actually draw my old dbz OC Shouri how I had always imagined her I guess. I originally wanted her to just be human but at the last second while drawing this, I couldn't help loving the way the tail felt on her.
There is a whole back story on her of course. Here and there over the years I've re-written it time, and time again as to make for a believable female saiyan character...which is hard to do. Maybe I'll post it here?
Anyways, I just realized upon posting this that I didn't give Goku a shirt...oops, oh well :/
Here is Shouri (and yes when I had originally come up with her when I was a young turd... I paired her with Goku. I'm not overly fond of Chi-Chi but I'm not gonna bash her. But hey...I let that young girl dream.
) That being said, many years later I find that if I do continue Shouri postings I think I probably still would pair her with Goku. Maybe. Anyways, just making art and hope you guys enjoy it.

I find it despicable when a Saiyan's tail gets cut off (specially when it's a girl). When you really think about it, the goods of their tails outweigh the bads. It's a power boost, an extra appendage, and a decorative aspect that makes them look cooler. Not to mention, the only really bad things about Saiyan tails is that they're a weak point and that most Saiyans can't control themselves as Great Apes, but both of those things can be solved through training. Even though the show doesn't make it look as bad, cutting off a Saiyan's tail is still a full amputation justified by laziness.

Haha! In the Fanfic I wrote about my OC, Klenteka (Goku's little Sister), they sedate her and remove her tail. It doesn't go well. Here's a snipit:
Chichi: How do you feel, Klen?
Klenteka: How do I feel? HOW DO I FEEL?! (hair flickering from black to gold)
Goku: Uh-oh, this isn't gonna end well....
Klenteka: YOU LET SOME IDIOTIC HUMAN STAB ME IN THE NECK WITH A NEEDLE, INJECT ME WITH A FORGIEN SUBSTANCE, AND HACK OFF MY TAIL! HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL?!?!
Chichi: Keln, I'm sorry, but we didn't have any other choice!
Klenteka: Whatever! I'm OUT of here! (flies out the window of her hospital room)
Goku: (runs to the window) Sis! Klen, come on! Oh, great! (flies after her)

Thanks, and it didn't go at all well before that either. Vegeta, Bulma, Chichi, Krillin, AND Gohan had to hold her down for the doctor to sedate her. Goku wasn't exactly helping, because he was on Klen's side.
