Description
It is not over yet, but I can show you the basis.
to consider it complete I need to :
- build a bionic eye that allow me to see a bit without glasses. and headtubes.
- work on some scars make up.
- clean up the saber and its scabbard, adds a purity seal.
- get a proper 40k side weapon. I was thinking of a customised laspistol, to represent an archeotech laspistol.
- build and write a proper Warrant of Trade.
for next year, i'll add the pelisse and bicorn.

Amazing cosplay. Not everyone can make the transition from 2D to 3D without looking silly, but you sure nailed the style!
As for the lasgun, I think you could look into some other options like 60s rayguns and the like. I have always imagined the DAoT as something like Star Trek: TOS.

considering I don't like much the 60's style raygun, and that I don't have a classic 40K cosplay, I prefer to have some elements that are recognisable. I have some ideas already.

I was thinking a gilded laspistol, with an eagle wing decoration at the rear, like the Belasco dueling pistol

Oh yeah, the Belasco are classy as all hell. Just a shame their stats are too weak

A gazmask can be found, and thanks to a lot of medieval reenactors, you can find easily cheap breastplates. Morion aren't cheap though.
