personally, i cant stand the colors either, but apart from that its a good wall. a lot of motion in this piece, and i esp like the swirls spiralling in from the topright & left.
but ph3tish is right, this ought to be a jpeg. gif is a 256-color-palette format, and its giving you noticable banding in the smoother sections of the wall. a jpeg would push the filesize down too.

I dont really like the colors either, The layout/design is great, and I dont think it would hurt to save as a jpg.

i disagree with shadowmageix on the colors.. i think the blue/green/yellow's blend in quite nicely. nice spinning feel to this higgs, i think im gonna pass out

I think the general layout and shapes are really nice, the color choice however is quite disturbing, making it unattractive for use as a wallpaper...

maybe you should try using two colors? (ie. blue/green or green/yellow)
