This is my entry for an artist collective, heres the site [link] there are a lot of great stuff in there... mine included
About the painting, I had a lot of fun with this, it took many hours cause of the details, actually the hardest thing was to figure out how was Charon going to look like. The entire paintig was done long ago, I cant remember exactly how much but was long ago
Entirely inspired by Dante's Inferno XboX-360 soundtrack, specially this one [link]

Great to see a skeleton with a bit of muscles on it, this way it's more reasonable to see it standing.

I've always loved Greek Mythology, this guy don't get enough attention as the others.

haha thanks, I had a lot of fun painting this and I wanted a different version of a somehow simple character, something more hellish or something like that

Yes, I remember Disney's "Hercules" movie. Where there is one scene with Charon escorting Hades cross Styx to get to his underground realm.
This is like a adult version of that if I can compare them.

well I was more inspired on Dante's divine comedy for this... not the ORIGINAL greek mythology character... I like the atmosphere of dante's poem
