In the interests of staying true to the game, the body is a little elongated and the tail shouldn't be barbed - but in the interests of coolness...

This is how they should have been done in Half-Life...

i'm not familiar with Half Life, i'm afraid, but i really like this image all the same. i like squids and i like dinosaurs and the bullsquid reminds me of both, and therefore i love it as much as both combined. i like the scenery effect too--it seems like a rather hazy sunlight, with a very eerie feel to it.
