Really cool idea, this reminds me a bit of Jelly man www.deviantart.com/logbot03/ar… , but yours is definitely better. Great work

Heh, a digital Nesting Doll.

So... how does he attack? He shoots homing energy ball out of his chest, right?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Crisis21 In reply to KurseofKings [2017-11-10 04:31:30 +0000 UTC]

He has an attack called Multiball (pun intentional) where instead of sending out a clone, he (and/or his clones) sends out a giant steel ball that rolls down the row. The larger the Multiman that creates the ball, the more damage it does.

He also has Multitrap where he (or a clone) can trap an enemy navi inside his body... while Multiman (clone) self-destructs.

Mabey also an attack that involves a small electric ball that slowly moves around the stage panels at random and shocks the player when touched.

Nah, he's mostly Obstacle with a side of Break element.

XXJune19th In reply to Crisis21 [2018-06-09 02:17:48 +0000 UTC]

What makes him part Break element anyway?

The steel Multi-Ball attack mostly.

Say, wouldn't Multiman be a Darkloid given his appearance?

And how does the Multi-Ball attack work?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Crisis21 In reply to XXJune19th [2018-06-16 13:13:30 +0000 UTC]

He's at least a mercenary.

And Multi-Ball is basically a giant metal ball that comes from the chest doors (rather than another Multi-Man) and rolls forward. The bigger the Multi-Man who spawned it, the more damage it does.

I didn't imagine him as a darkloid, simply a mystery navi for the most part. Though I suppose he could easily be interpreted as one.

And really? Link please?

So is that a yes or a no?

And by the way Happy Canada day. Even though I am not Canadian.

I also have a gift from Youtube for you.

Thank you for telling me this, but how do you know that? Didn't Higure-san make this Navi?

I'm the commissioner.

Why'd you stop making the data cards? I liked them, even if you didn't describe the attacks.

Crisis21 In reply to KurseofKings [2017-06-05 12:58:52 +0000 UTC]

Well, there was a thing a while back where he lost his laptop (stolen, I believe? I'd have to re-check the journal announcement) and all the data card templates and other related artwork it had. He's had to rebuild using the artwork he managed to store at online sources with a new laptop and redesign the data card template from scratch. He's told me he'll be using the new template for a few data cards shortly after he finishes his previous list of commissions (or words to that effect).

I hope he is okay.

Speaking of which, in the meantime, I just wanted to share with you some Net-Navi ideas of my own. And no I'm not looking forward to requesting these to him. And I would only want to share them with him and nothing more. Because I don't want most of my OCs being taken by Capcom's custody.Β

Here they are:

Royceman.exe (Kingsland)

Fabregewoman.exe (Anjina)

Yokozunaman.exe (Electopia)

Wizardman.exe (Kingsland)

Bakeman.exe (Leffie)

Cuckooman.exe (Gearland)

Chowwoman.exe (Amerope)

Minataurman.exe (Itareece)

Chainman.exe (villain) (Amerope)

Mantiswoman.exe (Choina)

Warman.exe (Gearland)

and finally:

A Ghost train themed Net-Navi who I have yet to have a name for. (Darkland) (villain)

What do you think?

Crisis21 In reply to XXJune19th [2018-08-08 06:21:53 +0000 UTC]

You certainly have an interesting list of names.

As for Capcom stealing your ideas, well... they've gotten thousands of robot master submissions over the years and I suspect a similar number of netnavi ideas. The odds that one or more share a name with your OC navis is significant.

Ah, Multiman... the immortal mercenary navi....

I'm feeling pretty giddy seeing this finished. Love the effect of the eyes in the darkness there.

MegaTuga [2017-06-01 19:06:33 +0000 UTC]

Oh it's the Robot Master from the Dreamwave Megaman comic...
To be honest I think the idea for him was good in concept, but more of an annoyance than threatening.. surely that wasn't the case in the comic itself.
As for this piece, I like how you kept the original's chest open but covered in darkness so you can only see the next clone's eyes. Creepy detail there.
