Rachel Bailey grew up with the first 4 (Hardlight, Bluestreak, Napalm, and Frostbite), so close she took the original Hardlight's disappearance the hardest. Years later, Rachel finds herself chased by an infected and nearly killed. The mutant that assulted her was one Bluestreak allowed to slip past him during and incident in a crowded mall. Filled with guilt, Bluestreak sneaked into Rachel's hospital room to inject her with a portion of his blood, knowing it would save her. It worked. Redstreak gain powers similar to the Bluestreak's. She then forces her way onto the team despite Blue's protest.l

She can absorb and throw electricity. Shes nearly as strong, agile, and durable as Blue, but lacks his trans formative mutation.

Redstreak boasts of being the toughest member of the group and is never happy to be proven otherwise.
