Wow, wait, what? Sorry to insert myself into this conversation, but those designs aren't even remotely the same. Seriously. Point out one legitimate similarity and I'll back off.
Also, you're taking canon stuff way too seriously. This is fan-made art. He's drawing what he wants in a respectful manner and I don't really understand why you've got your knickers in a twist about it.

I'm liking her redesign, but I'm not really diggin' the concept of her as a Prime. After all, Optimus is supposed to be the last of the dynasty, at least in the movie and Prime continuities.

Yeah, I don't think the movies are the best example of tranformers fiction. TFp just adopted that aspect from the movies.

I hadn't seen any other primes in tfp to know that. The point was to make a femme that turned into truck initialy, so I think the design would have been similar regardless.
