So what took me a long ass time to even get back to working on... I finally finished coloring the image of my boyfriend's shaman Rizaya with his Netherdrake mount behind him/her/it.
I am all around very pleased with this. I consider this a personal best.
Sketched, outlined, and colored completely in Photoshop CS.
Edit: Editted to be given a real title.
Time: 16 hours + Innumerable attempts to work on this, roughly rounded off to 30+ hours total

Thankie.... It was a challenge, but I figured, I had started on it, and I was doing all this other crap on the side. I should just finish it. I might change the drake and put something different in, but as the time, I felt the drake would fit better.

Thank you. You've grasped the jist of it anyway, hehe. The race of the character is demonic in origin, but they are creatures heavily reverent of "The Light" (as dubbed in the game). The design of the armor is supposed to reflect lightning. She is a shaman and much of their abilities are channeled through the elements of nature. The most notable is the fact that a shaman's beginning offensive spell is called "Lightning Bolt," haha.
The setting is one of the regions in the game called Netherstorm. Which has a backdrop riddled with "nether" storms. Lightning flashes there constantly and I figured the pink and lightning would offset the shaman's armor well. I threw in the netherdrake since that's my boyfriend's flying mount in the game and it suited the image well.

Wow, Nancy. I must tell you, I am thoroughly impressed with this one. I can definitely see the time and effort put into this one. It's just gorgeous. It has your style in it, but at the same time, it's different.... I agree with you... it is absolutely one of your best pieces yet. I love it!
