Thank you again MMO-Champion! This morning, or last night, sometime in the last 12 hours, they posted the new model for one of my all time favorite characters in World of Warcraft: Nozdormu.
Looks like he is coming into the game in his humonoid form in patch 4.2 for the healing of the world tree and the quest line about Thrall AND the new legendary staff. It is still early in the PTR about all this info, so it is subject to change.
I know that the text on the sand is a bit hard to read, it's meant to be that way. For those that can't read it too well, it says:
"It is my fate and curse to know such things and be unable myself to prevent them... Know that I now ask for forgiveness for the wrongs I will cause you in the future... But... I must be what I am destined to be..." --Nozdormu

Was browsing pictures and came across this. It's perfect for a wallpaper, so your lovely rendition of Nozdormu is now adorning my desktop. 
He's my favorite dragon aspect, and I love his humanoid model. ^^

Image looks awesome! I really can't wait to see how things turn out with him. I don't have the PTR, so I am waiting patiently for his debut. But there is one thing that's been driving me nuts ever since Wrath and the quest chain in Dragonblight...
IS HE GONNA GO COO-COO FOR COCOA PUFFS TOO?! I HOPE NOT.... if he does, he will make a pattern of all three of the male aspects going bonkers.

That is his humanoid form. He was so corrupted by magic that his form was corrupted too. It's explained better in the books, so says my boyfriend. I've yet to read them.

I'm not premium but sure 
If we take the shadow from the skeleton, and the shadow from the character, we can see that the shadow from the bone is more solid. If you want perfection, cut the shadow from the background on new layer, than remove the shadow from the main one and blur the shadow. In the end the shadow gotta be more blurred than in the beggining.
Same with elf's shadow. When you go outside, turn with your back to the sun. You will see that the shadow of your head is blurred, when the shadow of your legs is almost not. Try to have the same result in the pictures.
Blur on the background. There is none. Again, the farer (far with -er?) zones have to be more blurred than the closer ones.
The bones in the background are too sharp. (the ones in the very left)
Rest is just maskurade awesome style!

Okay, critiquing a critique. This is going to be for clarifying my reasons of why I do things and such. Please don't take any of this as personal.
Shadows. I suck at them, but have found a style in doing them that I personally like. It might not be text book correct on how shadows should looks, like an exact replication with blurring of the original object, but that's my style. If anything that I can see I should go back and fix would be to darken the shadow under him to be matching to the ones from the bones. I'm hardly looking for perfection.
"Blur on the background". Why? It's not my style to have someone sitting over the background. I'd rather have them be part of the background. Is real life blurred? Not really. Why should art? Only time I use blur is to blend or to fix a mistake. If you look at previous pieces to this one you would notice that they are consistent with not being blurred. I understand that you use blur on your backgrounds, but that's how you do it. Each person does things a bit different.
I'm sorry if this is coming off harsh. Just a bit tired of people, in one way or another, telling me that how I do my art is off or wrong.

It's not harsh at all, I hope my post wasn't too. I pointed out the things that I think are not right and that's all, but you are still right that everyone got his own style. ^_^ You are still one of my favorite aritsts!

I do too! Where is the tutorial?! I would make hair like this. With no face. Just hair. Then I'd print it and pretend it's soft, because it will look soft. Yes, that's what I'd do.
