My Second Entry in Contest
There is my entry for the contest "Tomb Raider: Reborn". It's an illustration showing everything I felt after an study about the game and after read the support material.It introduced to us a new conception of Tomb Raider, with a still "wanna be heroine", Lara Croft. She's a girl who yet is not sure of her place in the world, but has full conviction that wants to leave her mark.
Still afraid and unsafe about herself, she exitates several times but in her situation there is no time for regrets. In the deep of her soul, she knows that she can and she will fight till the end.
After these events, Lara Croft will reborn in the heroine we know.
In my entry I've tried to pass exactly this image, even with her fragile appearence, behind all that serenity she will discover that a strong and independent women lies within.

Very well done Hikari, very unique and different from most. Only thing I would have done different is darken her face more in correlation to her body. Seems a little too pale for me and it throws off the picture for me. Love everything that you did though, keep up the good work.

I love the description you wrote for her! It gives an interesting meaning to your art. It looks like some kind of a moment where she would realise that she's much stronger than she thought she was

Exactly what I wanted to spend with my art!
where even when everything around her in this storm, raining, hard to see, to stir, she manages to stay calm and find in it the Lara heroine's, we love so much!
we see in the game several times, she despairs, weeps, cries for help, but in the end she knows what she has to do, and just go ahead, this essence was that I wished capitar with my art, in his calm eyes we see the instinct survival, body lowered wondering what to do ... darkness on one side with the light of other ... despair and hope ...
That's what I wanted to do I hope you enjoy!
