I'm not a big fan of these two in an abusive relationship, and I definitely don't think that the court scene was hot or sexy. Believe it or not, I was initially turned off from Ereri since that scene was so glorified. Anyways, maybe I'm just a sucker for these two cuddling and touching each other's faces haaaa

I started shipping these two once I noticed how Levi cared for Eren and how much Eren admired him. If it weren't for that, I most certainly wouldn't picture them together.
I wish more people would write and draw Levi's caring side (he is not even an aggressive person to begin with).

I appreciated the court scene for the fact that I've got a bit of a kink for bruised and bloody boys. But what I really like about this pairing is something of what you portray here - mutual respect, a mutual sense of obligation and concern for the other's well-being.ย
Rivaille doesn't respect someone unless they've earned it (thus his disregard for the high-ranking military police, but his willing to trust fully in Eren's decision to transform into a Titan or not). I've always seen him as the type for whom age or rank isn't so much as a concern, and I think that something about Eren gives him that sense that they can rely on one another in a way that he probably can't with others. /oh god EreRi feels all over the place, clean them up.ย
I just... asdfasdf. I like seeing more tender, loving stuff like this. <3

Their relationship is Not abusive at all, in fact I hated that scene with all my heart, the first time I saw it (was in the anime) I almost cried out of indignation and wondered why there was so many Levi's fans all over the fandom... but when he asked if Eren hate him for that... and watch him giving him reasons to trust him and his team and all that... Well.. I began to understand he was in fact helping him and being a good tutor.
I like your pic, I reeeaally do because is what I think is the essence of ereri... being supportive one to another. And very emotional due to all the drama and angst the manga is involve.

I think Levi has a lot of good in his heart, he just never shows weakness and is cut off on the outside emotion-wise.
Just because he beat the shit out of Eren doesn't mean it's an abusive relationship...

But you do remember the scene where he non-hesitantly took that dying soldier's hand and told him that he was a help to humanity? Yeah there you go, but the other thing is,

Wow I love this a lot. The colours and shading are super pretty and the movement looks really wonderful. It flows so nicely :') You can especially see it in their hair~ I like how the lineart is very detailed especially at their hair :'DD And their expressions are really lovely and I love the way they're touching each other's faces ;w;
I don't view their relationship as abusive either. :') Levi had to hurt Eren during the court scene in order to save his life, ultimately. That's the only time he did it, and he never did anything like that again. In fact I view him as very supportive to Eren, guiding Eren when he's making decisions like when they're running from the female titan in the forest and Eren isn't sure whether to transform or not, Levi kind of helps him and talks him through it. Or at least that's how I saw it ;u; How when Eren transforms, everyone gets really really scared and panics, but then there is Levi who stays calm, and tells everyone to calm down. When Eren's sitting on the steps at the former Scouting Legion HQ and Levi is leaning against the wall beside him talking to him~ย Levi is very supportive in his own way. <: Not abusive at all.
Anyways, enough of my rambling. This is really sweet. Keep up the wonderful work! :'D *faves*

And definitely, I agree. There seems to be a couple of sides to the fandom- those who love the court scene and see Levi as this crazy abusive maniac and Eren as his dog..and then those who see themi as very similar and each other's support system. And yess, I love that scene 
Fun fact, in the character book, I believe that Levi's official role to Eren and Mikasa is "protector". That speaks for itself :3

It's weird because I've noticed throughout watching the anime that a lot of the same parts kind of feel really different compared to when I read them in the manga, but that might just be me? Maybe it's the translation differences or maybe I imagined the way in which they said things differently. It's cool though. (: I'm really afraid for next episode /sobs because of sad things happening, or might happen next episode I dunno ;A;

I think that they used a lot of stills in yesterday's episode, so the flashback scene went by a lot quicker than I thought it would. That whole part with Levi's little speech to Eren also went by pretty quickly, but still had a profound effect. I think that the anime comes across a bit differently to me because when I read the manga, I anticipated Levi sounding a lot more pissed off at Eren (like at the whole transformation scene). I was surprised that he was very calm and even concerned, which I thought turned out perfectly.

Yeahh a lot of stills and a lot of close ups! The part where Eren is sitting on the steps with Levi beside him had a lot of close ups just going back and forth between the two.
Yeah! It's so weird, actually I think the character who feels most different to me in the anime from the manga for some reason is Eren. It might be because of the way he's drawn though, haha. He's so cute in the manga. Well he's cute in the anime too but it's different? Maybe not I don't know. XD I was like 'he feels more calm in the manga' but that's probably just because I can't hear his voice and it's being read in my head from paper (or uh a computer screen).
UGHH I'm so upset for next episode NOooPE. Okay and this is horrible because for some reason, like sometimes I go back to reread the manga, especially to reference things when drawing, and I always freaking click chapter 30 (I think it's 30) and that's the SCENE man that's the sad part with the sad things happening and I always get so upset. Why I always click that one I don't know ;__;

Hmm I know that when I read the manga the first time through, Eren's character definitely died down (in terms of violent outbursts and energy) after he plugged the hole in Trost. It might have been due to the craziness that is the current arc, but yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from.
