I've been wanting to make a stamp for awhile, but never knew what I wanted. Then this just came to me today, so I had to make it.Homophobia is HYPOCRITICAL

They are entitled to their thoughts and opinions, but they should think things through and see it from someone else's point of view. Thinking it through and giving other people's thoughts a chance is the first step to acceptance.

but there is also the point were they wont shut the fuck up about THEIR rights.

i say, the nicer we are, the more we can show the world how horrible they truly are.

i actually think that some of them are actually going to prevent good things from happening.

I agree. When I talk to people who are homophobic, I talk calmly to them and hear their opinions and tell them my own. If they refuse to listen to me, then they are just afraid of being wrong. The people that go too far need to calm down if they ever want acceptance.

When I stand up, I stand up for everyone. I give everyone a chance. I do agree that not every gay person in the world is an angel to the person, but I still stand up for the ones that are good even though they aren't acting as accepting as they talk about because I believe that they once were but they had been beaten to be like that. (Sorry if you can't follow that... It's almost 2 AM here. Heh heh XD )

I had been searching for stuff like this because of a school project...
which i am actually presenting tomorrow.
It involves gay rights and how homophobes and the like argue against it.
i found some... truly idiot examples, but the gay community doesn't have entirely sound arguments as well.
either that or those on the other side of the debate has their ass stuck so far up their ass they don't comprehend.

Several most popular reasons homophobes will give you against homosexuality:
1. Marriage hasn't ever changed. It's always been between a man and a woman. Like it's suppose to be. (But it has changed. People are allowed to divorce and black can marry white.)
2. The Book of Leviticus says homosexuality is a crime against God. (That book also says people who divorce should be put to death and slavery is morally okay.)
3. Gay people shouldn't be allowed to adopt because they will raise gay children. (Yet straight parents can raise gay children.)
4. Children can only succeed with a male and female role models at home. (Yet children with one parent are just fine.)
5. Gay marriage is invalid because it can't produce children. (Yet old people and sterile/barren people can marry.)
6. Gay sex is wrong because they don't put their privates where they are suppose to go. (Yet their are plenty of straight couples who engage in anal sex. In fact, the guy that told me this one was my best friend's boyfriend and she told me they have had anal sex before. (I know. Total TMI. XD ))

Forreal though! Why does it matter who you kiss and who your in bed with and who you look at and think, "Damn, they're cute?" It's fiiiine for two straight people to make out on a bench at the mall but two gay people can't even hold hands without getting looks or get married in the U.S.

It's such double standards. Gay marriage should be legal in America. Last time I checked, this was a free country and in a free country, you should be able to fall in love and marry anyone.
I'm pansexual and proud and homophobia is total bullshit. They don't even really have good reasons as to why they dislike them or don't have the same rights as straight people.

Exactly, there's just no solid reasoning behind it besides people being afraid of something they don't understand.& it's not like it's illegal everywhere, you could almost understand if America was, like, the first place to allow it. But i know it's legal in Canada and maybe other places? Like today my dad got married and I noticed she kept saying "Man and women" and it was like...ggrrrrr lol. Love is not gender. Love is listening to marriage vows and not thinking "cheesy" but thinking "awww" and agreeing. xD lol

I agree. It really shouldn't matter what's in their pants. In my dream world, there are no wars, instead, people discuss their problems and also in that world, gender serves no more meaning than which bathroom you use. And when I say that, I don't just mean that you fall for someone despite their body parts, but also that means people can wear whatever they want, cut their hair however they want, and so on. There are no gender stereotypes.

Yeah, did you hear about those 6 or more gay boys that killed themselves? That;s not right. & like I cut my hair short in 6th grade for Locks of Love and all my friends teased me about looking like a boy and I know they're just messing with me and if it really bothered me they'd stop but it's still like...why? & same with boys, my friend's brother had long hair & one of his teachers called it rockstar hair & then he cut it,, prob cuz people mistook him for a girl. sad.

It's messed up and wrong. My brother used to be called Jesus because he had long hair (and also because according to his teacher "he only graced them with his presence ever 1000 years") It's so stupid. Spirit Day is about remembering all the gay people that committed suicide over bullying. I wrote a poem/short story about Spirit Day. You should read it.

I do believe homosexuality is a choice, but that doesn't matter. The message here is anti-hate, right? I strongly believe in that. It's not right to interfere in other peoples' life choices unless it directly harms themselves or other people. We've already discussed this, though. Salvation can't be revoked. So what are people afraid of?

Homosexuality isn't a choice just like being straight isn't. You're born with it. You aren't capable of saying, hey, I want to like this gender and only this gender. It doesn't work that way. You're born that way and you just have to accept it as who you are. It's like deciding your natural hair color. It can't be done.

It's not a choice. I'm pansexual and I can't control that I'm attracted to both genders. No one would choose to become gay and given a hard time. They didn't decide it. It just happened. If being gay was a choice, be default, EVERYBODY would actually be pansexual and just pretend to dislike a certain gender.
