I came up with this idea literally years ago () but I didn't draw it until now because I couldn't think of any good way to turn it into a comic before. The way Link has to pull the Master Sword out of the stone always reminded me of the King Arthur stories, like "The Sword in the Stone". Then I thought "what if the Master Sword actually WAS the sword from the King Arthur story?". Thus the idea

So the guy in the last panel is a young King Arthur, in case you didn't get that. xD Not any particular version of him, this is just my own interpretation. It was fun to create a design for him XD (though this is before he becomes king, so I guess he's about Link's age or something ... does he look it? )
The idea was to make Arthur seem more "mature" and "manly" than Link so that Link would feel challenged XD Who do you think is more good-looking?

Anyway it was real fun to do a TP comic again!! Is this seriously my first TP comic since "Poor excuse"? I think so, unless this counts: [link]
I colored this one with watercolor pencils. I forgot how fun it was :')

Lol, in the first panel Midna is looking at her watch ... xD I guess she gets bored. And the hat in the last panel is because ... well, she's impersonating some kind of "ancient storyteller" or something, so you gotta have a hat XD
... did you know I used 75 % the same colors for Midna's hat as I did for Link's tunic and cap?

Also the reason Link is in pain in the last panel is because he fell over in an unsuccessful attempt to take the sword out of the stone, and hit the ground. Maybe that was unclear ...

I'd love to get some comments and feedback, as always I'd like to thank my family for helpful advice, and myself for making this comic possible. x3
