Hello everyone! So here’s a new comic, the first Harry Potter-themed I’ve posted here!
This takes place in the 7th book, before the Order of the Phoenix come to escort Harry away from Privet Drive. In the scene where they actually do, it says Hermione’s hair is tied back in a long plait. I discussed this with one of my friends & fellow Harry Potter fans and I said I couldn’t understand how Hermione managed to tie her hair back because her hair is all over the place and bushy and stuff. ~AjnosFTW said she liked to think it was Ron who helped her with it. Then this idea evolved in my mind. Quite an impossible task for Ron, eh?

I used watercolor pencils for the coloring, although this time no water, simply because I didn’t feel like adding any.
I like the feeling of the art and coloring myself, think it feels cozy, somehow XD If I do say so myself ...
I’m satisfied with how the art turned out, and the style. I guess there are some flaws but I haven’t spotted any major ones ... yet XD
Hermione’s bag ... I colored it pink because well, I always imagined it pink, for no particular reason xD
And I drew Ron’s hair that long because Muriel said she at first thought he was Ginny when she saw him ... And even if she’s mean and exaggerating I guess that ought to mean Ronnie’s (lol) hair was pretty long at this point.

Also: I sure like quoting Star Wars, don’t I? (Third panel.)
In the last panel I exaggerated with the size of Hermy’s (lol) hair because it was fun ... Same with the panels showing the time ... Poor Ron, it takes him 6 hrs 25 minutes to tie back Hermy’s hair and then it just bounces out of the plait.

Anyway, I’m really excited about the LAST movie (wow!) ... And here in Sweden it’s coming to theatres tomorrow, the 13th of July. So I’m gonna watch it then, which is why I wanted to post this now, in time for the premiere over here. I hope I can keep myself from spoiling, though. I wouldn’t like it if I were from England, America or whatever and saw that Swedish fan spoiling everyone ... xP
It’s sad that it’s the last movie and everything ... Harry Potter will never truly have ended, though!! Us fans will keep it alive ... I have quite a few more ideas for HP comics, for instance XD I’ll try to make more of them for my own and other fans’ satisfaction xD
