HikkHyric — Fluffiest Concept: Possible 2nd Player Character?

Description
For the longest time I've been debating whether or not there should be a rival/2nd-player character in Fluffy's universe. I did have an idea for what kind of rival Fluffy should have, which would be a character actively trying to win the attention of The Player with their moveset to annoy Fluffy.Here were the initial notes for the character as written on a piece of paper:
Ventriloquist Character!
- Character and her dummy wield cartoonish revolvers
- Both can shoot for 2x the damage
- Dummy can pop off her hand to crawl into hard to reach spaces
This character is a WIP, so who knows what could happen to her. Though I know for a fact that the ventriloquist theme is here to stay.

No problem! It does make sense. Just as long as she's not too jarringly different than Fluffy. I'm thinking of the alternate playable characters in Mega Man Powered Up and 10, as well as Tails and Knuckles. So in that sense.

Oh no, not totally different. Just enough so it doesn't feel like you're playing as a Fluffy clone. I'd like to think of this character as a way of expanding the level design.

Do they have any tag team moves?

I haven't thought of any tag team moves for them, though I do have one mechanic involving a certain enemy. This enemy takes the form of either Fluffy or this character and mimics every move they do rendering their attacks worthless.
So for example, if said enemy takes the form of Fluffy, it'll hinder her progress and counter every attack she does since it knows all her moves. Switch to the 2nd character and you'll be able to take it down since it doesn't know any of this character's moves.

I guess that makes sense. I mean, fighting someone who fights just like you can be pretty worthless, especially if they know your moves.

This sounds interesting! I imagine her platforming mechanics would be a bit different from Fluffy's when playing as her.

a rival is a nice idea, albeit it be nice if it were a character Fluffy could play off from.

I was thinking they could play off one another in a way where they try to one-up each other trying to prove who's the better playable character. Just an idea that's been bouncing around in my head.
