Okay, so for Tempo, I jumped out of popularity order. SulfurMan was supposed to be next, but I'd figure to draw Tempo on his own for once(the only times I've drawn him he was stuck with Lyric like Velcro).
Creator Bio:
When I created Lyric, I figured what would a MegaMan clone-ish character be without at least one sidekick? I wanted to go for an animal that wasn't common, but one people could recognize as a robot. So I figured to go with my favorite animal, an armadillo(man do I want one as a pet!). I used Rush as a base mainly because if you think about it, his body is an endoskeleton for how you would draw a non-robotic dog. I'm not good at drawing animals, but I figured that because most of his body would be covered by his armor Tempo would be easy to draw from most angles. I chose the color blue because I wanted my favorite animal to be in my favorite color, and it also went perfectly with Lyric's color scheme as seen here: (joeguidez.deviantart.com/art/L… ). I will plan on drawing Tempo more often on his own, but when he's on the scene, he's always at Lyric's side!

It appears there was! When I was creating Lyric & Tempo, I was more going off the cannon of the games, not so much the comics

God, that's the worst >.< back in 2012, Asthen & Lith's original names were Thunderclap & Electra. But both names were taken by superheroes and sounded kinda stupid XD

When I was originally designing Ivy, her hairstyle unfortunately looked somewhat like Sonic's quills. That original design got repurposed, and now the character the design belongs to has a bit of a maned lioness motif instead.
I didn't know there was a superhero named Thunderclap. I heard of Electra before.

Yeah, Thunderclap was one of those Marvel heroes that "Yeah, we have a character named Thunderclap! We just have no current use for him yet..." God I hate when major companies do that >.<

Oh, so he was D-List type character? I hate when they just waste characters with good potential. Also, I think it would be kind of cool if comic companies could sell their unwanted characters to anyone interested, or maybe even make them public domain. It might be kind of fun.

In a way I wish Sega or Disney did that with Mighty the Armadillo(I love armadillos XD) and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, those two have been collecting dust for years! At least Capcom makes subtle references to the MegaMan franchises occasionally...

I know a few old cartoons have become public domain, and I think it would be cool to see those two actually in something more often. I'm still mad at Capcom for screwing the Mega Man series over.
