Description
UPDATE: I've replaced & improved the egdes of the metal beams using some mask selections & digital airbrush.I've also added some more contrast,light & color to the overal piece.
i wanted to do something different than the speedy rough sketchlike work I mostly do . practice airbrushing
and more soft detaill also trying to get the industrial rigid look . i've had this concept in my mind for
a while now.
finaly took the time to paint it.

there's no official story but this concept was in my mind for a long time.
based off-course by the work of asimov & many a scifi movie.

yeah you really should luis royo is a great artist. just to forewarn you some of his art contains nudity, he has mostly women in his art. but i really love the look of it and the post apocalyptic feel.

For some reason, when I look at the picture, I see the AI as female, although there is nothing to indicate that. What are your thoughts. What were you thinking when you making this?

I must say I had not realy thought of that.
it's basicaly a genderles robot but it could have female attributes.
it could be in the pose & nuance of the character.

It looks like a female figure, sad of the brainless mechanic routines she has to do every single moment.
A robot mentally caved in, atleast it looks like that in my interpretation.

It makes me think of the future...
In 100 years we'll probably have robots working while we're just sitting on our asses eating cookies and getting fat... and after a while the robots will take not only the jobs, but all of the emotions as well, so we'll become emotionless creatures wandering about aimlessly while the robots take over the society we built. That my first thiught when I saw the pic...
But it's also very well-made!! I like the grey tone
