Oh wow! That's lovely!
If you want to make some money from it, I strongly suggest contacting cross stitch companies and getting it converted into a cross stitch chart, I know it'd be very popular.
The whimsical quality to this picture is very appealing and the colour palette is eyecatching without being in your face. It really does remind me of a popular designer in one of my magazines.

thank you very much for your comment & for the info.
I'll be sure to look those up.
I never heard of that term before.
the colour was probably the hardest to get right.
lots of revisions.
do you know the name of that designer from your magazine?
I'd like to check him out.
cheers!

Sorry it took so long. I have a million magazines and I couldn't remember which setof magazines to look through, let alone which issue it was in. The artist you remind me of is micheal Powell.

thank you for the reply.
no prob that it took so long.
I've found a site featuring his work.
I see the connection.
though his linework's much more squiggly.
thank you once more & have a good weekend.

You're welcome.
Glad you found some of his work. Yeah, his work is more squiggly, but there's deffinately a similarity. And his work sells really well, so I think you should have no problem with the correct marketing if it's something you want to do ^_^
