Ok, so here is Albus Severus Potter. I don't care if his initials are ASP, I just don't think he's suited for Slytherin. I mean, did YOU see ANYTHING about him that seemed Slytherin? I certainly didn't. Also, considering that it IS his choice, I don't see him choosing Slytherin when he doesn't want to be there.
Also, I didn't give him glasses. You can look just like Harry and not have his astigmatism! Also, the book never specified if he had glasses or not.
Albus is pathetic enough, let's not add glasses to that quivering tower of whininess

In a word; Yes.
Introverted and reserved, perhaps not all that brave, at least outwardly. Likely ambitious, as the "middle kid" he may well feel overlooked and, deep down, yearn to stand out.
Also apparently prone to concealing his emotions, as the book says that it shows how serious he takes the possibility of being Sorted into Slytherin, that he would reveal his fears to his father. And also, he likely shares qualities with his parents, which would include cunning, resourcefulness and possibly leadership qualities - qualities which almost got Harry into Slytherin.
So yeah, I think Albus would make a great Slytherin.

aw no way man, albus has to be in slytherin to PROVE the stereotypes wrong! i never hated the hp movies more than when mcgonagall was all like 'put all the slytherins in the DUNGEONS coz we all hate them!' thats horrible, there would have been terrified little kids in that group and it went against everything dumbledore ever said about equality and acceptance and not judging people and sticking together and stuff. also, its incerdibly insulting for the slytherins working on the good side, like snape and slughorn. ive always put albus in slytherin in my head; i think there's a huge part of harry that should have been in slytherin (no, not the horcrux) and as albus takes after him so much (small, whingy, insecure, stubborn) i think that would have carried through too. but thats just me

Dumbledore has done plenty of stupid things, if you ask me, so I wouldn't take his opinions with a grain of salt. Albus was good in Slytherin and Scorpius was his BFF. Harry was only small because the Dursleys malnourished him, though.

No he wasn't! Little Kid Harry is adorable! It's only around book 4 that he started to become rather dark, and in book 5 he had emotional breakdowns on an almost daily basis, which was annoying. My theory was that he felt like nobody took his feelings to be legitimate--not to mention he was confused with the world but (this he probably didn't know) himself as well, so he was looking to everyone else for answers, which they either couldn't or wouldn't provide. I think Harry was only short because he was underfed though. Unless they mention James or Lily being shorter at any time.

Probably because JKR gave slytherins a bad rap and to repent she should put one of the "Boy who Lived" kids in that house. Plus, him playing chaser aganst his bro would be cool.

Snape has already proved that not Slytherins are evil, so I think Albus isn't one. He knows he can choose, or at least choose not to be in Slytherin, and just because he's nervous about going to Hogwarts for the first time, it doesn't mean he isn't brave.

No, but Albus doesn't seem to be cunning or have any of that wonderful Snake-like snarkiness. He's a shaking leaf who makes himself so vulnerable to barbs of others, but doesn't strike back at all. To be honest, I think he's more of a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Perhaps he's a timid Gryff, but Slytherin- I just don't think he'd be able to deal with the coolness that is Slytherin.
